2010 - 2011
• it has been achieved the biggest annual export in the history of AEM
• a number of new products have been developed for deferent markets such as: Germany, France, Scandinavia, Spain, Hungary, Netherlands
• a number of investments have been made to increase the production capacity by purchasing new assembling lines, modern equipment and modern machineries

2007
• the subsidiary AEM Timisoara of Luxten Lighting Co. achieves juridical personality, re-becoming S.C. AEM S.A.
• at S.C. AEM S.A. is being manufactured a complete range of meters for utilities, realized at a competitive level for international requirements.

2007 - 2009
• the company invested over 3.5 mil. EUR in the re-tech processes, research department, modernizing infrastructure and improving working conditions for 1,450 employees.

1999 - 2006
• the volume of investments is over 24.5 mil. EUR;
• the investment efforts have as consequences successful restructuring ad implementing new technologies;
• the processes have been modernized:
1. Production processes, by:
- the endowment with modern machines and equipments for the automation of the processes and basis technologies
- the air-conditioning of the processes in order to ensure the environment conditions imposed by the specifications.
2. Design processes, by:
- the endowment with modern equipments and instruments for measuring and testing;
- takes place the improvement of social and work conditions for the 1,600 employees.

1998 - 1999
• S.C. AEM S.A. is privatising, the major shareholder being the company S.C. LUXTEN LIGHTING COMPANY S.A.
• the Quality System is certified according to the previsions of ISO 9001 by the KEMA Institute from The Netherlands.
• the group LUXTEN LIGHTING COMPANY S.A. Timisoara is being set up, where S.C. AEM S.A. becomes AEM Timisoara subsidiary of Luxten Lighting Co.

1994 - 1996
• the introduction of new ranges of products, having as direction the development of the company as SUPPLIER of MEASURING MEANS;
• the development of the products from the object of activity, modernizing of the processes;
• the implementation of a quality system according to ISO 9001, certified by SRAC (Romanian Company of Ensuring Quality);
• introduction and development of a reliable and strong informatics network.

1980 - 1990
• the transformation of IAEM into company takes place, S.C. AEM S.A.

1972
• the first electricity single-phase meter is being manufactured in FAEM;
• production of single-phase and three-phase electricity meters is developing, as well as different panel electricity instruments and regulators.

• FAEM TIMISOARA is being set up, with the object of activity containing the manufacturing of instruments for the measure of electrical values, voltages, currents, powers, electrical energy, electric devices for automations.
